Education is about connection
Is teaching about serving a system or is it about serving people?
If it is about people first then teaching has to be about connection. Teachers signed up to become educators to prepare kids for life, and because they love connecting with them. When teachers serve the system first they get burnt out and then they cannot connect, honour the call to be there, and serve the kids.
