Garlic almond dressing
Garlic almond dressing
It’s simple and quick to whip up this very tasty salad dressing, which contains no vinegar. This creamy sauce goes great with any green salad combination or can be used as a condiment when heating up leftovers or with any dish that needs an extra lift.
Ingredients
- ½ cup almonds
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ cup olive oil
Method
- Place the almonds and garlic clove in a food processor and pulse until blended.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until the desired consistency is reached, looking for a smooth texture, but this is also quite nice with a few coarser nuts through it as well.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
Inspiration
- You can also use Brazil nuts, walnuts or macadamias in this dressing.
